As one of Russia's leading cities, Novosibirsk offers an impressive selection of festivals and year-round events for visitors to enjoy. There are also literally dozens of concert halls, theatres and nightclubs, providing an array of evening and nighttime entertainment all over Novosibirsk.

Many of the biggest events are hosted by the Philharmonia on the Ulitsa Spartaka, and at Rock City or the acclaimed Opera and Ballet Theatre, both of which are located on the Krasny Prospekt. However, it is the World Trade Centre in Novosibirsk where most festivals take place and there are always things to do and enjoy here.




Some of the most popular festivals at Novosibirsk's World Trade Centre include the Spring Fashion Week in later February and the Sibjewery in early March, an international exhibition of jewellery and precious stones. Always a crowd puller in Novosibirsk is the Siberian Fair in April, which comprises several events, including the Sibfoodexpo (International Food Stuffs Exhibition), the Siberian Beer (Beer Festival) and the Sibshowcase (International Exhibition of Sales and Trade Equipment).

Later on in the year, the World Trade Centre in hosts events relating to tourism, flowers, cars, gardens, hotels, restaurants, agriculture and real estate. Held each year in September at a number of the central cinemas in Novosibirsk is the ever-popular International Documentary Film Festival, which is amongst the largest of its kind in Russia.
